📣 FOR MEN: A Personal Note

When I write or coach with men in mind, I’m thinking about my own sons (ages 15–22).
What would I say to them?
What would I want them to understand?

It always circles back to three things.
Three fundamentals that shape healthy manhood.
Because let’s be real:

Healthy men → Healthy marriages → Healthy families → Healthy communities

This is why we must invest at the root:
The heart of a man.

💔 Let’s be honest...

Many of us have felt the pain caused by a father… or by a husband.
And whether passive or harmful, the common thread is the same:
👉🏽 An unhealthy man.

🔑 The 3 M’s of Masculinity

1️⃣ MAN

✔ Be true to your healthiest self.
✔ Insecurity leads to passivity or aggression.
✔ Security leads to purpose, presence, and building others up.

🧠 Secure men work.
👀 Secure men stay watchful.
🗣 Secure men speak life.

2️⃣ MISSION

🛠 Men were built for more.
A man disconnected from purpose is a man drifting.

🌍 Mission roots us in meaning, keeps us grounded, and draws out our best.

3️⃣ MARRIAGE

💡 Not every man will marry.
But every man will influence others through how he loves.

🔥 Love begins with sacrifice.
Especially for the woman who raises your children.

⚠️ Real Talk:

This may sound old school… but show me a woman who doesn’t want to see more men:

✅ Secure in themselves
✅ Submitted to a cause bigger than them
✅ Sacrificing for others

That’s the manhood our world needs.
That’s what I’m after.

💬 Final Word for My Brothers:

👉🏽 Hit the refresh button.
👉🏽 Re-engage.
👉🏽 Pursue the version of manhood that brings life to everyone around you.

The world changes when we change. Let’s grow together. 💪🏽

What "Daily Bread" Is Really About Friends, In the middle of the holiday season when calendars are full, rhythms are disrupted, and gratitude is both practiced and tested I wanted to take a moment to simply reconnect. Not with an update, but with a reflection. Over the last couple of years, one prayer has quietly shaped our lives more than any other: “Give us this day our daily bread.” (Matthew 6:11, CSB) It’s a familiar line. Easy to recite. Harder to live...if we are being honest. A Season...

TRUE TRIBES STRONG GRATITIUDE A DAILY POSTURE FOR THOSE WHO FOLLOW JESUS Every year around this time, our feeds get filled with quotes about being thankful. The air gets a little softer, the conversations get a little warmer, and everybody seems to pause long enough to say, “Man, I’m grateful.” And there’s nothing wrong with that. But if we only tap into gratitude during the holidays, or only when life feels good we miss the depth, the strength, and the weight of what Scripture means when it...

The Meantime What You Do While You Wait Matters There’s this phrase that’s been sitting heavy on my heart lately: “in the meantime.” When you hear it, you might think of the space between events or the gap between appointments, the downtime before what’s next. But I’ve been thinking about the spiritual meantime. You know, that season between where you are and where you want to be. And here’s the thing:Every man lives in a meantime season. Especially young men in their early 20s. Because...
