Radical Generosity

Radical Generosity

What jesus followers are made for

Live Generous

One of the most fundamental attributes of a follower of Jesus is a heart of generosity. To be generous means to go beyond what’s required—to give freely, joyfully, and sacrificially. This kind of generosity is only possible when we embrace the generosity God has shown us.

From the very beginning, God gave Himself away.

In creation, the Father formed the world and gave life to humanity. Throughout the Old Testament, He remained present with a fickle people—the Israelites—never abandoning His promise. In the Gospels, Jesus, the Son, stepped into our world, giving His life through death, burial, and resurrection. And from the birth of the Church to this very moment, the Holy Spirit empowers, by living in those who place their trust in God.

The perfect One has always been present with imperfect humanity. This is the example we follow—God, who is kind and abundantly generous.

Generosity is not just a part of the gospel story—it is the story. And because of that story, we are transformed, inspired, and empowered to live generously toward others.

Below are 10 powerful Scriptures that speak to the beauty and blessing of generosity. As you read, study, and meditate on them, let the Word of Christ live through you.

What "Daily Bread" Is Really About Friends, In the middle of the holiday season when calendars are full, rhythms are disrupted, and gratitude is both practiced and tested I wanted to take a moment to simply reconnect. Not with an update, but with a reflection. Over the last couple of years, one prayer has quietly shaped our lives more than any other: “Give us this day our daily bread.” (Matthew 6:11, CSB) It’s a familiar line. Easy to recite. Harder to live...if we are being honest. A Season...

TRUE TRIBES STRONG GRATITIUDE A DAILY POSTURE FOR THOSE WHO FOLLOW JESUS Every year around this time, our feeds get filled with quotes about being thankful. The air gets a little softer, the conversations get a little warmer, and everybody seems to pause long enough to say, “Man, I’m grateful.” And there’s nothing wrong with that. But if we only tap into gratitude during the holidays, or only when life feels good we miss the depth, the strength, and the weight of what Scripture means when it...

The Meantime What You Do While You Wait Matters There’s this phrase that’s been sitting heavy on my heart lately: “in the meantime.” When you hear it, you might think of the space between events or the gap between appointments, the downtime before what’s next. But I’ve been thinking about the spiritual meantime. You know, that season between where you are and where you want to be. And here’s the thing:Every man lives in a meantime season. Especially young men in their early 20s. Because...
